This double-layer wind instrument bell cover has been made to meet performing arts aerosol study recommendations. It covers the bell opening of the instrument to help prevent the spread of aerosols and features a breathable design with little to no back pressure or acoustic loss during performance. It comes equipped with a removable MERV-13 filter, and the elastic closure and cord lock keep the cover secured to the bell opening. It is reusable and hand washable (Do not wash filter. For best practices, replace after 1-2 months). Measure your instrument bell before ordering to guarantee best fit. General sizing guidelines:
2-3" - clarinet, oboe, bassoon
4-5" - alto sax, trumpet/cornet, bass clarinet
6-7" - tenor sax
8-9" - bari sax, trombone
10-11" - baritone/euphonium
12-13" - French horn (does not allow hand access to bell)
11-13" French horn with slit (allows hand access to bell)
